Hello, I am Iulia Tudor, an industrial designer with a multidisciplinary edge in graphic and UX design, and a growing focus on wearables and human-centered innovation.

My design approach is rooted in curiosity and bold thinking, but in the past year, I have transitioned from simply experimenting to deliberately innovating. Equipped with a strong foundation of practical skills, I now dedicate more energy to research, strategic ideation, and connecting with others in the design ecosystem. Whether I am challenging myself through new technologies or exploring smart materials, I continue to seek purposeful innovation solutions that improve lives and resonate on a human level.

Within a team, I bring energy to ideation and clarity to execution. I have grown into a more active collaborator by facilitating dialogue, learning from peers and mentors, and building momentum behind promising ideas. I thrive in discussions where insights emerge and ideas evolve in collaboration. Though I still enjoy the precision of prototyping, I have found a new passion in wearables, specifically intelligent garments and functional tech designed for the human body.

My design philosophy is tied to impact, both on individual users and the broader world. I strive to ensure that every concept I develop considers its environmental footprint and societal relevance. Therefore, sustainability is not just a principle I follow, it is a necessity I design for. From ideation to final product, I am conscious of waste, efficiency, and the long-term consequences of what we create.

Empathy is central to everything I do. I do not only design products, I design stories, experiences, and systems that evolve through feedback and shared understanding. For me, a prototype is never a finished product: it is a moment in a continuous dialogue. I am passionate about making my design process transparent and inclusive, so others can see themselves in it, contribute to it, and grow alongside it. This mindset turns every project into a platform for learning, discussion, and shared progress.

Vision

I see design as a bridge to the future, linking human connection with nature, and balancing traditional practices with emerging technologies and sustainable solutions. While many dream of life beyond Earth or fully digitized realities, I believe that the key to collective well-being lies in nurturing our planet and strengthening the communities that live on it. True wellness comes from more than just a healthy environment; it is also shaped by how we connect with ourselves, the people around us, and the spaces we live and work in. My goal is to contribute to a future where urban spaces are reconnected with nature and where empathy and creativity are at the core of both living and design practices.

At the same time, I deeply believe that technology is inseparable from our future. Rather than resist this evolution, I am curious to explore how digital tools, smart systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT) can enhance our human experience, especially in the realm of wearables. The smart textiles industry is experiencing rapid growth, driven by demand for responsive, purposeful garments. I aim to contribute to this movement by focusing on interactivity in design, creating pieces that adapt, respond, and communicate.

As environmental concerns grow, so does the urgency to rethink the way we design and consume. The future of fashion, and of design at large, will depend on how well we can repurpose, reuse, and reduce. I want to be at the forefront of this shift, where innovation is not about excess, but about efficiency, intention, and renewal. I see immense potential in merging digital innovation with sustainable practices, crafting solutions that are both expressive and responsible.

In essence, my mission is to use design as a tool for regeneration, not depletion, where products are built not only to solve problems but to tell stories, create connections, and build resilient, more human futures.
